Chocolate chip cookies


  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • white and milk chocolate chips (add to taste)


Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and stir in the vanilla. Add baking powder and salt to batter. Stir in flour and chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls onto a baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes, until edges are nicely browned.
