Michael Kors goes fur free

Millions of animals are killed for the fashion industry annually. A few months back the luxury brand Gucci announced that it’s going to be fur-free for Spring 2018 and on the 15th of December another well-known brand Michael Kors made the same decision – it’s not going to use animal fur anymore in 2018.

During Michael Kors fashion shows there can be seen plenty of models strolling down the runway while wearing luxurious fur coats, so going fur-free marks a completely new chapter for the brand.

In my opinion this is an amazing move made by the brand that not only draws a lot of publicity but most importantly is good for the environment. Michael Kors will join such brands as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Armani, which are already fur-free.
